Patriot Excalibur (PEX), developed by U.S. Air force is a software application that coordinates the scheduling, training, standards evaluation and aircraft status activities of unit-level operational military aerospace units.
PEX is used worldwide by over 1000 squadron-level units, including USAF Major Commands, Australia, Poland & Iraq
In 2008, PEX was selected by the Australian Navy and Australian Army to replace existing aircrew currency and flight scheduling systems. Sigma Bravo is responsible for customisation and integration of this software for ADF needs.
In 2017, PEX-based Land Range Safety assurance tool was selected by the Australian Army to fulfill their requirement for a system where qualifications, experience, and currency are recorded and tracked.
