Celebrated 5 and 10 Years of Service

Two of our employees celebrated their 5 and 10 year work anniversary. So, we recognised them with a special award to say thanks!

Became official supporters of the Veterans Employment Commitment

We made a public commitment to support greater employment opportunities for veterans.

Delivered major mission system software components

We are updating LIFCAP Hawk, ARH and MRH90 with the Joint Mission Planning System to provide ADF with integrated solutions to support mission planning capabilities.

Supported pilots, ground crew and mission planners at 14 bases across Australia

We continued to deliver efficient Level 1 support in regional bases across the country.

Developed custom mapping and aeronautical information

We designed and distributed custom mapping products for our users, ensuring that the right information was available at the right time.

Delivered 8 modules of computer-based training

We continued to deliver training packages to enable military operators.

Expanded Level 1 support to our users

Our embedded Field Support Reps provide technical and operational support to our users. This year, we expanded our locations at two sites, RAAF Base East Sale, VIC and Gallipoli Barracks Ennoggera, QLD.

Transitioned to automated testing using Ranorex

Detailed and complex software testing and reporting can now be fully automated, removing the chance of human error and ultimately creating more efficiencies within the team.

Attended Exercise Chong Ju, Puckapunyal

We travelled to the Puckapunyal Military Area for a showcase of Army’s capabilities.

This demonstration gave some real context to Sigma Bravo’s development of the PEX product, which has been modified to meet the needs of Army’s Land Range Safety Organisation.

Participated in the Brissie to the Bay bike ride

QLD personnel took part in the Brissie to the Bay bike ride. They completed the 100km course and raised over $1000 in donations for multiple sclerosis.

Exhibited at Avalon Airshow

We attended Avalon Airshow as industry partner in the RAAF Jericho Dawn 17/4 tent. Showing our collaborative work on open standards and implementation for sensor networking, common across the Five Eyes military partnership.

As a member of Team Canberra, we showcased our Mission IT and Security solutions. This was an opportunity to demonstrate our full system life cycle support for Australia’s military environment.

In conclusion, it’s been a great year supporting Australian Defence capability. Sigma Bravo will continue to grow, share skills and experience to find solutions and deliver exceptional results in 2020.
